This year marks the fourth year since the last 'lost time' accident for Portobello-RMF. A lost time accident is where an incident happens in the workplace which results in an employee taking an absence of leave from work for a minimum of a full working day. This accident takes place on the job and is usually a result of a slip in the workplace safety standards. The day of absence does not include the day of the accident.

The passage of four years since our last lost time accident really demonstrates the company's respect for and application of all the appropriate health and safety measures in the workplace. We're so pleased with the excellent safety record we provide to our staff, especially placed as we are within the engineering industry where accidents are more likely to occur.

Portobello-RMF places great value on ensuring employee safety at all times and is pleased that this attention to procedure continues to be effective in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
